Where the Molinos Story Began
Molinos Coffee carries a family story that began in Havana, Cuba, where Elio Jimenez Gonzalez owned a café called Molinos. After migrating to the United States with his family in the 1960s, the name lived on and was later revived in California through a family market in the San Fernando Valley.
Years later, Elio's son Robert and his wife Irene brought Molinos to the Inland Empire, creating a coffee shop that honors those roots while welcoming a new generation of guests. Since opening in 2013, Molinos Coffee has become known for bold Cuban coffee, warm hospitality, and a café experience that feels both personal and inviting.
Today, with locations in Downtown Riverside and Downtown Redlands, Molinos continues to serve as a place where tradition, community, and everyday coffee moments come together.
